Matters Arising

The group agreed that there is still a need for the APPROACH meetings in addition to the Family Voice Norfolk as they offer an opportunity for practical and hands on problem solving, and information sharing between parents. It was suggested that the next meeting be held at the Diocesan House at Easton during the summer term 2007.

Venue

Diocesan House at Easton (off A47)

Guest Speaker

David Lennard Jones, Area Director for the Western area will be joining us for the first hour. He is going to talk about area working and is happy to answer any questions or concerns you may have.

Matters Arising

At the last meeting in January 2007, it was agreed that there is still a need for the APPROACH (Allowing Positive Parents Real Opportunity for Action, Change and Help) meetings in addition to the Family Voice Norfolk as they offer an opportunity for practical and hands on problem solving, and information sharing between parents.

Family Voice Norfolk

Children's Services and the Health Authorities in Norfolk want to hear what parents/carers have to say.  Initially and temporarily named Norfolk Parents/Carers Council, this parent-led group has been launched and re-named Family Voice Norfolk "influencing services for children with special and additional needs"

The next open evening is on
  Mon 26th March 2007, 7:00pm
at The Hewett School (south hall), Hall Road, Norwich.
