We are currently collecting donations for the
following fundraising events scheduled for 2010.

Norwich Triathlon

Whitlingham Country Park, Whitlingham Lane, Trowse, Norwich, NR14 8TR

Simon Gowing is kindly
raising funds for DSN. He is participating for the first time in
the Norwich Triathlon and will be competing in the 38km cycle event of
the Olympic Triathlon Relay. Simon is part of a three man relay team
named "Tri-Umph of Hope Over
Experience". We wish Simon and his Team all
the very best in their challenge.
The relay starts and finishes
at Whitlingham and consists of:
a two lap 10km run
a single lap 38km bike ride and
a 1500m open water swim in the broad

Lions Charity Motor Show and Family Fun Day

We urgently need your
unwanted gifts to use as prizes on the DSN "everyone's a winner
lucky dip" stand at this annual event. Gifts for any age
groups gratefully accepted.
We need to start wrapping the
gifts early in preparation so If you can donate anything, and to arrange

At this annual event we have
successfully held "a lucky pick the wine bottle" stand
For this event DSN needs
donations of unopened bottles of wine to
use as prizes on the stand.

DSN was nominated by the Elvin family as one
of the Bowls Club's chosen charities for 2008 and DSN received a cheque
from funds raised, following their Christmas Carol Concert. |
Norfolk Internal Combustion Engine Society

Chris and Simon from the Guys 'n' Gals SNDG
presented DSN with a cheque from the N.I.C.E. Society. |
Waitrose
|
DSN was nominated as one of Waitrose
customers' chosen charities
The 'Community Matters' initiative -
Shoppers get to help decide how the sum is divided between the selected
local organisations. Shoppers are given a token at checkout which
they can place in one of allocated boxes. The amount a cause
receives is directly proportional to the number of tokens received from
customers. |
