update on the SEN strategy
Norfolk County Council distributed a consultation document to parents
of children with special education needs and other interested parties
regarding proposals for a new strategy for SEN provision for 2006 -
2009. The document also contained a consultation response form
enabling everyone to take part and submit their views and opinions.
Parents were also invited to attend events and have the opportunity to
speak to local authority officers who were able to explain the proposals
in more detail.
The consultation ran from 22nd May to 14 August 2006, you can keep
track of the findings by reading the Report
by the Director of Children's Services 06/09/2006 (in pdf file

11/12 onwards.
Feedback was also offered via the following website links, which so far
have been problematic to access, and rather complicated to navigate,
