Future Plans
Following sub-committee
meetings to discuss future plans, it was agreed that we would like to be
able to extend drama in order to include more 7-11 year olds. This
involves splitting into three groups, whilst as a whole we will still
remain as the Snappy Name Drama Group, each
age group will be encouraged to give itself its own name, but until such
time will be referred to by the following:
Primary
School - ages 7-11yrs
High School - ages 11-17/18yrs
College Students/Young Adults ages
18-mid/late 20's
Primary
Group - Its is proposed that in order to provide a safe environment
and suitable activities, this group needs to meet at a different venue
from the Norwich Arts Centre. The East City Children's Centre is an
ideal venue and since the Young Down's Group already meet there, it also
offers an easy transitional opportunity for YDG members to graduate to the
Primary Snappy Name Drama Group. This new group will be coordinated
by another member of our committee and will start in September 2010.

High
School and the College Students/Young Adults
Groups will each remain at the Norwich Arts Centre, where we have
booked well ahead this coming academic year. These groups will meet
on the 2nd and 4th Saturday of the month (although avoiding holidays),
always check for dates. |
